The foundation of Topwell 17 mm Extra mats are 27 mm wide aluminium sections connected by a stainless steel wire and separated by rubber rings, which make it possible to roll the mat for easier handling when cleaning.
The aluminium sections can be infilled with grooved PVC, textile or brush strips, which may be combined aluminium scrapers where necessary.
Grooved PVC and brush strips are used in the 1st cleaning zone to remove coarse dirt (stones, mud). Textile strips are used in 2nd cleaning zone for removing fine dirt (water, dust). Grooved PVC and textile strips can be replaced when worn out.
For practical reasons, we recommend unifying the type of filling – alternating PVC or brush filling with textile creates a height difference that may affect comfort when passing over the mat.
Alternatively, PVC/brush filling can be used in the first half of the mat and textile filling in the second half. This allows the cleaning effect of both types of fillings to be utilized.
The mat can be ordered with aluminum profiles with a black anodized finish.
