Company history

Gapa p.o.c. was founded in 1992 by the owner, Ing. Pavel Gabriel. Since the beginning, the company has specialized in the production and sales of (door) mats and cleaning zone mats. The production started with two types of mats – the Openwell mat, designed as the first step in cleaning (used to remove rough dirt) and the Shatwell mat, designed as the second step in cleaning (to remove fine debris). Both these types have become widely popular with clients whose demands on interior cleanliness require the highest quality and European standard. In the following 10 years, our range of products has grown to provide over 20 types of mats and accessories such as doorstep covers, bath mats etc.

Currently, you can find GAPA p.o.c. products virtually everywhere. Our mats are custom-made for both wholesale and retail organizations. Our products have been exported to Western and Eastern Europe since 1996. You can find branches of our company in Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, and Russia.

The company has been awarded a ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 certificate
